I wanted another remote and thought this was a good way to get it. So, surprise the games are fun. The whole family from age 11 to 65 enjoy playing.
5 Stars Wii Play with Wii Remote
You have to have more than one Remote if you want to really have a good time with more than 2 players, so I purchased this one that comes with the game, Wii Play. Everyone loves playing most of the games, we are asked to bring it to parties and everyone loves (Charge!)the cow racing game,the shooting Range, and the fishing you would not believe the adults love it. I love the table tennis and the billiards is quit a challenge! It is sure worth getting both products together!!!
4 Stars Simple games but a little for everyone
As others have said, this is pretty much a $10 game with a $35 remote. If I were the only person playing it, I’d probably rate it 3 stars. However, the shooting mini-game is one of the few games my 3 year old can play comfortably on the wii. The simple interface and clear marker that appears on the screen helped teach him how to point the remote at the tv and [eventually] control its movement. He also really enjoys fishing, but controlling the rod is a little touchy so we need to help him get it back in the pond and keeping it steady. The other games are ok. My husband enjoys billiards and I like ping pong. Find Mii is pretty dumb.
All in all I’d recommend this for anyone in need of an extra remote and for those with smaller children that get frustrated with regular wii games that are still too advanced (and assuming you’re comfortable with them playing target shooting games).
Also, if you have the Wii zapper – it works well with the target shooting game. My 3 year old has better control with just the remote, but prefers the zapper because it feels more like one of his toy guns.
